Terms of Service

AskFirst provides a proxy layer between AI agents and third-party services like Gmail. You connect your accounts, define access policies, and AskFirst enforces them — blocking, allowing, or requiring your approval for each action an agent takes.

By using AskFirst, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

You're responsible for your account and everything that happens under it. Keep your credentials secure. One account per person.

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. If we find that account information is false or misleading, we may suspend the account.

Don't use AskFirst to:

• Send spam or unsolicited bulk email
• Harass, threaten, or abuse others
• Violate any third-party terms of service, including Google's
• Distribute malware or engage in phishing
• Access accounts you don't own or have permission to use
• Use the service for any illegal purpose

Rate limits apply to proxy requests. We'll communicate current limits in our documentation. Don't attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the proxy infrastructure.

Gates exist to protect you. Don't build agents or tools designed to bypass or circumvent gate approval requirements. If we detect automated gate circumvention, we may suspend your account.

AskFirst offers a free tier with usage limits. Paid plans are available for higher usage, billed monthly or annually.

We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Price changes won't apply to your current billing period. If you don't agree with new pricing, you can cancel before the next billing cycle.

Refund requests are handled case by case. Contact hello@askfirst.io.

We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee it. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

There is no SLA on the free tier. Paid plans may include uptime commitments described in their plan details.

AskFirst is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We are not responsible for the actions your AI agents take, even when those actions are proxied through AskFirst. You are responsible for the agents you connect and the policies you configure.

If an agent takes an action that causes damage — whether it was allowed by your policy, approved through a gate, or resulted from a misconfigured rule — that's on you, not us.

Our maximum aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from your use of AskFirst is limited to the total fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You can delete your account at any time. When you do, we delete all your data — connectors, API keys, policies, and audit logs.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If possible, we'll notify you before or at the time of suspension and give you a chance to fix the issue. For severe violations (spam, abuse, illegal activity), we may suspend immediately.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Delaware.
